TOUGH FOR AC

admin 0

Ac.Milan has a few tough matches ahead of them including Serie A fixtures against Juventus, Udinese and Sampdoria just to name a few. But the one that is the most anticipated is without doubt their encounter against Atletico Madrid for the 1st leg of the Champions League.

Atletico Madrid are currently at the top of the Spanish league alongside Real Madrid and Barcelona while Ac.Milan on the other hand are struggling to find rhythm in their squad with a new coach trying to put things together but it still isn’t working out for them as they are in the middle section of Serie A.

The team of Claerence Seedorf suffered a 3-1 defeat against Napoli, had to settle with a 1-1 draw against Torino and have been displaying mediocre performances in this entire season. The Dutch coach tried to explain some of the questions that were launched at him as he defended his decision to leave Montolivo and Muntari on the bench when they faced off against Napoli.

Seedorf explained: “Montolivo is in good shape … but we have to think about the games coming up and against Atletico we will be without Montolivo and Sulley Muntari so I have to test alternatives.”

The situation is so dyer that it can even be seen within the players themselves as Balotelli started to shed some tears after being dropped out during the last 20 minutes of the match as the former Manchester City player was substituted and replaced by Pazzini.

The inability to claim triumphs, to perform at the level that many are expecting them to do is starting to be displayed but according to Seedorf, he just needs time to put Ac.Milan back at the top.

“It will take a long time to get the team the way I want it. We have professional pride so our goal is to improve,” he told media on Monday.
